Challenge
DIYblinds had built a reputation for high-quality, made-to-measure window furnishings, but the brand wanted to move beyond product promotion. The goal was to inspire customers by connecting the brand to the lived experience of design, positioning DIYblinds not just as a supplier, but as part of a home’s architectural story.

Approach

We developed and produced the DIYblinds Behind the Curtain series, a branded content format that brought viewers inside the homes of real customers. Each episode showcased how window furnishings could elevate the design and atmosphere of a space, while authentically capturing the homeowner’s personality and design vision.

Our team managed end-to-end production, including:

  • Creative direction & scripting — Shaping each story arc to highlight design choices and lifestyle context.

  • Interviewing & on-location filming — Capturing both editorial-style interiors and authentic homeowner narratives.

  • Post-production — Cinematic editing, colour grading, and sound design for a premium viewing experience.

  • Editorial layouts & digital publishing — Creating companion articles and imagery optimised for the brand’s owned channels.

Execution

  • Produced a multi-part content series blending cinematic visuals with conversational storytelling.

  • Published across the brand’s website, blog, email, and social channels to maximise reach and engagement.

  • Designed the editorial flow so each home tour subtly connected product features to a broader lifestyle vision.
