Terms of service.

1. Usage License

The client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual, commercial usage license for all final edited images delivered by the photographer.

This includes use for advertising, marketing, digital platforms, social media, printed collateral, and online property listings.

❗The license does not permit resale or redistribution of images to third parties (e.g. magazines, home builders, designers) unless approved in writing by the photographer.

2. Photographer’s Rights

The photographer retains full copyright and intellectual property ownership of all photographs captured during the session, including raw files and final edits.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing:

  • The photographer may use selected images for a portfolio, website, social media, and promotional use.

  • Images may be entered into competitions or submitted to publications with appropriate credits.

3. Creative Direction & Artistic Discretion

The photographer maintains full creative control over image composition, angles, editing style, and final output.

All work is delivered based on the photographer’s professional standards and visual style.

Client requests will be considered, but creative choices remain at the photographer’s discretion unless specified before the shoot.

4. Client Responsibility

It is the client’s responsibility to:

  • Ensure the property is clean, tidy, and photo-ready at the agreed time

  • Notify any residents, tenants, or contractors of the shoot schedule

  • Confirm that all areas photographed are approved and permitted

❗The photographer is not responsible for staging, object removal, or any personal items left visible in the frame.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

  • Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $165 cancellation fee

  • Extreme weather or access issues may result in rescheduling without penalty

6. Delivery & File Retention

  • Final edited images will be delivered via download link within the timeframe stated on your package (typically 3–5 business days)

  • RAW files are not provided unless by special arrangement (additional fee may apply)

  • Edited files are stored for up to 6 months, after which backup retention is not guaranteed
